Provides plenty of water, nice simple design. Having a hard time keeping it from running over. Will work ok for a few days. Then start over flowing again. Should include a valve stem wrench with it. Not sure if I would buy one again just have to see if I can get it working right.

I was so glad to find this on the Internet. I had relied on the chick and adult waterer for my small flock and was amazed at the simplicity and ingenuity of design. In reading reviews, I could only suggest that the person experiencing leakage after a year needed to replace the valve core. I thought the use of the standard pneumatic tire valve core was astounding. I know rust breaking loose from pipes may score the poly seal but for less than $1, it can be simply replaced. They are so easy to disassemble and clean. As I am about to return to a farm environment where I shall need to purchase new ones.

Great item. Had a little leak at first, but tightened the valve stem that controls the off/on. Works great now. Expanding with more chickens-just ordered a second one!

I have the small and large version of these founts. Both worked well for 1 year after which the valve will not turn off regardless of spring adjustment and bowl constantly overflows and floods the cage.

Thanks, these make checking water a LOT easier, especially checking 5 coops when it's so hot out! I like being able to see for sure that there is water available to my chickens and that it is working properly. The only change I would make is to make the connector garden hose size, but that's just me.

We have used this waterer for our small flock of egg-layers for more than five years and it is still going strong. Very well made and a great design. Don't hesitate to buy this one! :)

I have been using the automatic waterers in my chicken pens and they work great. I have 2 waterers hooked up to a 55 gallon barrell. Excellent Product.

I have had these for 3 months now and it is absolutely the way to go. It is reliable, easy to clean, always stays at the level set and the chickens always have water on hand. One thing I though might be a problem has turned to be a plus. We always have hot, dry winds here and I was concerned that the water would get too hot. As it turns out the breeze blowing across the water evaporates and cools it enough to keep it from getting too hot. I did insulate the pipe coming to it so the water in the pipe would not be hot going into the fountain.

We use these in outdoor pens that move and they work great. My husband had to find a way to hook them up but we originally bought 4 and 4 more a month later. I am guessing we will buy more in the future. They are worth the money.

I love this waterer. The chickens can't step in it, nor poo in it, and it gives them fresh water when they want. It doesn't work during winter freezing, so I don't recommend it in COLD WINTER regions, but I'm glad I have this. I just hook up a hose and hang it from a tree branch or hook. I even hook it up to my rain-barrel that comes off the coop, and don't need to hook it up to the faucet. (I live in Oregon, and drain it before severe frosts, and use a 2 gallon rubber bucket for those few days of severe weather).

Nice when working, but the spring loaded valve inside needs constant fiddling and replacement every 4-5 months.

I really love this. Just hook it up and away you go. My chickens drink out of it. So what can I say. Its a great product and work well.

It has worked great!!! I have a high mineral content well and it has lasted years where the horse waters fail every few years. A great buy and amazing time saver!!!!!
