Im not a trapper so I cant comment on the advantages of these traps over others.
Pros
- The overall quality of construction appears good.
Cons
- The stamped metal parts had many small rough, sharp edges from the shearing process that should not have been left in the final product.
- I spent a lot of time filing, grinding or sanding these edges down for safer use.

Best traps I have ever had.

Had problems holding raccoons. Had lot of pull outs. The traps would b pulled to end of chain and gone. Don't know what problem was.

I have yet put them to the test as of yet. The traps are really well made. They will be used once the PA trapping season goes into effect this fall oct 2011.

Bought a dozen of these traps. I was impressed with the price to start with. As a teen I paid $7.50 each for basicly the same trap in 1976. I bought these Duke traps for $5.50 each shipping. They are better than the Victor traps I bought in 1976. I am impressed. Kudos to Flemming Outdoors. JB
