The paint was so thick, the trigger-mechanism took a LOT of pressure to close the door. It worked fine when the paint was sanded off.

Although I haven't trapped a raccoon yet, I did catch the neighbor's cat! The trap is easy to use (I am a woman) and I know I'm going to get that raccoon!!! The price was excellent--I checked other websites, and it was shippied immediately. I am very happy with my purchase.
