Nice construction and very sturdy. When the weather warms, we will be cutting each one to custom fit our nest boxes that are just under 12x12. They are truly for a 12"x12" nesting box and are so sturdy, we could not force them to fit. Can't wait til Spring.

After having a few broken eggs, despite mats and shavings in my egg boxes, I purchased these nest bottoms, along with the Plastic nest pads. No more broken eggs! The eggs also stay cleaner, and of course, my coop is not a mess of shavings (I use sand over a dirt floor). And if I DO have a broken egg (I had an egg eater, but we've got that corrected), these nest bottoms are easy to clean and sanitize.

The nest bottoms fit well in the nest box. It is a good protection for eggs...to prevent breakage.
