Excellent help for keeping waterers cleaner by raising them from the ground. The open grid pattern allows most of the chicken's droppings and soil to fall to the ground. However these openings make it inconvenient for placing feeders since the food the chickens throw outside of the container is wasted under the platform. It is easy to clean and to move around. Attracts the chicken to the containers and gives plenty of space for them to stand comfortably. Playful chickens love it! They run around and enjoy going up and down! However it is designed for chickens three weeks and older. I've found that some adult roosters love to stand on it to have a better "view" so I have had to raise the waterers a bit adding a couple of small bricks in the center part of the platform, a trick that helps to still keep the water clean and accessible to drink.
