This product is well worth the 44 cents per treated gallon It keeps the water fresh and my Hens healthy

I've used this product only recently during the Fall and Winter months and it is not yet obvious to me if it does what it claims. I might try it again during the warmer months. However the bottle only contains 33.9 FL OZ. of product which makes 33/34 gallons of treated water. At $17.49 per bottle means an average of 0.50 cents per treated gallon of water plus the portion of the shipping cost. In any case one has to discard at some point part of the old treated water. Therefore in my view this makes the product a bit pricey for what it actually does.

I was having trouble with my gallon waters having a bad smell with in a day before I started using this water protector,also noticed my chickens didn't even slack off on their laying when it turned cold. I love this product.

Appears to keep the water freah with no slimy residue. So far so good.
