Works Great

I wanted the solar unit because batteries tend to die in the extreme heat and cold. This was easy to mount however, I had to come back and watch the video on line about installing the door because I bought the two separate. So then I realized I had to completely take the door off in order to get to the back where you plugged the unit into the door. It's a shame that you just can't plug in the unit to the door without having to come in from the back, other wise, it works great. Love it.
Pros
- Works great so far, charged up just fine. Plenty of cord so you can mount the solar unit quite a few feet away.
Cons
- If you don't buy at the same time as the door, the directions should be better and tell you that you have to plug it in from the back. Had to rematch door installation to figure it out.

I love the solar kits. They work perfectly, and I haven't had a failure in all these years. Unfortunately, I am not pleased that when I need 2 more, there are none in stock. I really like the $95 price. More please.
